A floral encrusted vase produced in the Coalbrookdale style by the Coalport factory in Coalport, Shropshire, England in about 1830. This is a very early piece and, as is usually the case with early pieces, is not marked.
The vase stands 31cm tall and is 15cm wide. Its profusely encrusted with applied flowers and leaves in multiple colours as can be seen in the photographs.
As may be expected a piece of this age, almost 200 years old, there is a little damage to some of the flowers. Mostly minor nicks (please refer to photos). There are three hairlines on the inside top rim (please refer to photos).
